I was part of an online community that went rogue, real world, known by your face and not just your handle.

I’d like to say I dated a few men. That would be a lie.

From the motorcycle-riding cutie with the washboard abs, to the strip poker game that ended up being a night permanently burned in my brain.

I dated them all and more—a couple of them suggested there should be an anonymous group to get over me.

They were all a lesson I needed to learn or at least a step toward the one I belong with.

Nobody ever said that following your heart wouldn’t take you through an obstacle course of men before you discover and could appreciate that maybe “The One" had been there all along. That the love of my life could accept everything I’d done and where it had taken me.

The fact is, he had a plan all along.

All he wanted was me.

My only goal was to have fun. I lived for the excitement and adventure. I experienced everything and everyone. It was all my journey that lead me to where I belong.

Living vicariously through Kate!

Having met this author in real life finally. I could see her through snippet of Kate’s character and lived through the book vicariously.

How did you meet your significant other? I met mine while still in high school long before the internet was a thing. Relax all you youngsters it easy that long ago! Lol

I haven’t had the chance to make sure I experienced all the different characters and attitudes that Kate does here so yeah I lived vicariously through her.

She meets some real losers who in my opinion take her on a wild ride but in the end she finds The One! And I loved the story to finding her mate!

I listened to the audiobook version of this book but I also have purchased the paperback from the author at a recent signing❣️

Naomi is a crazy fun gal who looks for fun and love I picture as as Kate does here in this book.

The narrator was awesome with all of the various characters here and she is new to my ears! Can’t wait to hear more from her.

This was a different kind of listen, but I had so much fun listening and getting to know the characters. This was highly engaging and kept you enthralled throughout. The narrator did such an amazing job.

I didn’t love the format of this book, it was a bit choppy and didn’t seem to have a lot of flow to it. Interesting premise but just know it’s not your typical book, each chapter is kind of it’s own story within the story, at least until the last few chapters. If you’re looking for something a bit different give it a go.

This book is a diary of Kate online dating journey in order to find her HEA. Kate is hooked on dating online, she is in numerous groups and chats with several different men a time. Kate gives you much detail of how and who she dated and the events that happened due to the people she met online. A different kind of read.

Confessions of an Online Junkie by Naomi Springthorp is a romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Lila Winters.

This is the first book of Naomi's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I loved Kate's confessionals! I really enjoyed that each chapter was broken down by the guy she was dating or chatting with at the time. I was hooked and couldn't wait to see who she finally ended up with.

Lila did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like romantic comedies or contemporary romances.
