I have re read this series a few times. the stories take fiction to an extreme that I would normally avoid, but this engaged my imagination.
The audio book also gets it just right. A very perceptive choice as it would have been so easy to get it wrong.

I swear, if this thriller series didn't have Gay content it would be an international best seller. The storyline in Conscious Decisions of the Heart gripped me. I love Nik and Ben, even though they are both a bit twisted in their own ways. Both men have so many secrets and they are revealed slowly, and have a shocking effect.
This book has lots of very dark themes, and it's bloody, and makes you doubt yourself.
But holding you together through all of the twists and turns is Gary Furlong's spine-chillingly amazing narration. He is by far my favourite narrator, and he seems to get better with each book. Fantastic writing, superior narration.

Outstanding narration. I found myself being drawn further and further into Nik and Ben's lives and I want to know more. This story is as messy as Nik and Ben's relationship. They are addicted to each other and I'm addicted to this series. Can't wait for book 3
