He’s tempted, but she’s a bundle of trouble. Seth likes his women calm and sedate. Presley is the kind of woman who would keep him up at night and make him crazy. Too bad he’s starting to enjoy it.

Passion flares between Seth and Presley, heating up the cold Montana nights. Knowing they only have a short time together, they vow not to fall in love. But when danger finds Presley, Seth will risk everything to keep her safe until she can testify. Will Presley get her old life back or start a new life with Seth instead?

The audio gods know how much I love a good protector book, so when they threw this one at my face I jumped right in!!!
The premise was great, the start was good, the characters were alright, the action was a bit bland but the twist?? Oh the twist was disappointing, the only thing I didn’t see coming was how anti-climactic it would be.
The story was good and if you’re looking for something light to get you out of a book funk, Cowboy Command would be perfect. I just expect more depth in my books.
Now, not everything is doom and gloom. I really enjoyed the narrators. Phillipa Miller and Duncan Prescott do a mighty fine job as Katie/Presley and Seth.

I love finding new authors and Olivia Jaymes quickly caught my attention with the spicy romantic suspense! Presley is put into witness protection after a car bomb almost takes her out. Yes, Presley is her new name and is now living in Montana for the most difficult of bosses. Seth is the town sheriff and he is a bear when it comes to work. She is just going to do the job while she is there, after all the case should be over soon and she can get back to her life in Florida. What she finds though is that he is much more than the notes the previous assistants were. As they work together, their chemistry begins to sizzle and they decide to enjoy it while she is there. But danger follows Presley and Seth does whatever he needs to keep her safe. Will this just be temporary? I loved this grumpy sunshine story. Suspense is my jam, and Jaymes packs this passion filled romance with just enough danger to keep the story flowing and exciting. I enjoyed this cowboy listen!

Phillipa Miller and Duncan Prescott filled my ears with a fabulous narration. Miller portrays Presley full of attitude, scared yet confident and ready to do her time and get back to her life. Prescott is the broody sheriff with a voice as smooth as chocolate. He gives that alpha protective feel. Together these two add the chemistry giving all the passion. It's a wonderful performance.

Excellent narration from Phillipa Miller and Duncan Prescott

Katie is not having the best lunch with her sister or as Nora says step sister. Nora is jealous and doesn’t really hide it. Going back to her car, Katie realises she has left her phone back in the restaurant. Just as she turns back debris falls on to her car. Strong arms pull her into safety. Claiming he is a Marshal and is there to protect her. Could her boss Randall be behind this, the same man her sister thinks she is having an affair with.
Now in witness protection new life in Montana, new name Presley Lawson and no longer blond. Oh new job to the local Seth the town Sheriff. So opposite but one thing is the attraction. I found myself laughing at the turkey hunt.
Strong characters, one big alpha protector and a woman who knows her own mind. Danger, spice and chemistry. Great story..

This is boo, one of a series and I know I am going to love listening to these books. This book in starts off with action and then leads into the love story between Prestly and Seth. These two characters are so different but they work very well together loved their story. The characters introduced intrigue ,e as well and I can’t wait to get their stories as well. If you are looking for a new series with some action and a lot of romance this one might be the one for you.

This is book 1 in Jaymes' Cowboy Justice Association series. A great start to a new series that can be read/listened to as a standalone. This book features our main characters Katie aka Presley and Seth. Presley finds herself in danger after an attempt on her life if made and goes into witness protection where she meets cowboy sheriff Seth in a small Montana town. I love their instant attraction and how it develops, I loved the sweet romance element, the small town, family dynamic as well as how the relationship between Presley and Seth progressed. The dual narration by Miller and Prescott was well done and added like to our characters and this storyline. I liked the mystery / who done it element as well. Overall, a well written, beautifully narrated steamy romance. I'm looking forward to more in this series!
