About this listen

My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods...or monsters. I still can't decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me.

Then there's Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn't felt anything for a hundred years. But there's something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what's broken in me.

Which could spell death for us all.

Because Jaxon walled himself off for a reason. And now someone wants to wake a sleeping monster, and I'm wondering if I was brought here intentionally—as the bait.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music.

Performed by Melody Muze, Wyn Delano, Yenn Ann, Anthony Palmini, Julienne Irons, Gabriel Michael, Eric Messner, Melody Muze, Alejandro Ruiz, Aure Nash, Bradley Foster Smith, Chris Stinson, Colleen Delany, David Cui Cui, Donald Guzzi, Drew Kopas, Karen Novack, Megan Hastie, Michael John Casey, Nora Achrati, Robb Moreira, Scott McCormick, Steve Wannall, Sura Sui, Tia Shearer, and Yasmin Tuazon.

Everythinge amazing. Original and on point. A gem of story, beautifully read and acted. The plot is original and it gets better and better.

Masterpiece

Okaaaaaaaaaay, I had no idea that dramatised audiobooks were a thing and I AM LOVING IT.
a bit miffed that the book is split into two parts so have to buy them both, but I think it’s worth it. Absolutely loving the story so far and can’t wait to hear the rest!

I'm not sure I'd have bought the series if it wasn't dramatised with voices I recognised. Hopefully the first part is slow on purpose. for me it feels like Twilight in a boarding school. ... probably meant as such!

In it for known voices

as always a great production... truly a movie in your mind!
A young girl 17yrs, loses her parents and has to go live with her only remaining relatives an uncle, who is headmaster of a boarding school, and her cousin. The school turns out to be a castle in Alaska, and full of supernaturals, that she had no idea about!
My only criticism, and it is a small one, is that the main male character's voice is way too mature.

just LOVE Graffic Audio productions and this is no different

Have to admit, after listening to Fourth Wing and ACOTAR dramatised versions first. It's super strange to hear Feyre narrate as Grace, become friends with Rhysand (as Flint), chat to Xaden (Mekhi)... But I loved all their voices in the other audiobooks. It's just insane to wrap my head around. Can't wait to hear more familiar voices as the story progresses.

Great AND familiar voice cast!
