I have the book of this and read it quite a while back and maybe that spoilt my enjoyment of this book because it felt quite laborious listening to this

Was ok, not a great overall story. Nice that the 7 stories linked together, even though some felt pointless. Some characters felt annoying at times. Not a good selling point for getting into BT

Fantastic collection of short stories from the 41st millennium. Recurring characters add a nice sense of continuity and there's some nice character variations that are unusual in Black Templars stories. As ever, Jonathan Keeble's narration is excellent - his pace, intonation and character voices are all on point. Highly recommended.
