I really enjoyed getting to know sweet Kiran and Taj, they were cute and funny.
Kiran really went through so much due to the curse and his sister wanting him to dance at her wedding knowing what he sacrificed for her really set my teeth on edge.
Taj being blackmailed wasn't great but thankfully they wre able to resolve the issue.
Greg Boudreaux did an amazing job narrating and bringing these characters to life.

I loved the plot in this book. It was very clever and I connected with the main characters right away, especially Kiran. He was the kindest and sweetest man. So selfless. And the chemistry between him and Taj was great. The world building is beautifully done, the magical systems are interesting and well crafted and all the supernatural species have unique qualities and powers and lore. It's a magical world and I really really enjoyed this story! The narrator was perfect, I loved how he voiced the characters. Beautiful!
