About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Prepare to fall in love amongst the wildflowers this spring. . .

When aspiring pastry chef, Tally Darling, returns home to her family’s daffodil farm, the last thing she expects to find is a hot – half-naked – farmhand living in her childhood bedroom and running her late daddy’s business.

Jesse Walker might be gorgeous but he’s also infuriatingly grumpy. Walker has no time for Tally and the feeling is mutual.

That is, until Tally hears him moan over one of her signature caramel honey cupcakes. And then discovers how good it tastes when they kiss.

As dewy April days turn into warm May evenings, Walker and Tally soon realise that there is a thin line between love and hate. But will their budding connection grow into something that lasts beyond one season?

Great book, even better audible! Absolutely loved it and chapter 21 and the group texts were absolutely hilarious

This charming tale of family grieving the loss of their father. The family farm is now being run by Walker a grumpy cowboy (here he would grumpily exclaim - not a cowboy), when the youngest Darling sister returns home and is not happy to find the hot scantily clad - not a cowboy, in her childhood bedroom.
Secrets are bubbling under the surface but Walker has been sworn to keep these from the sisters.
Fighting against their feelings they work together to save the farm.
A cake disaster for Daniel And Hannah Halls ( Boston bolts) brings out Tally’s baking skills for the whole town and around the country courtesy of Hannah and Aiden Langfield’s social media’s post.
A loan on the farm could spell trouble but both Walker and the town save the day.
One of the best bits of this book is the banter in the town group chat 5star
