I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan and yes, I believe stories should be judged in the context of the time they were written. There are limits, though, and reading Miss Marple lightheartedly agreeing that girls are "willing to get raped"... Well, that crosses every line. I wish I hadn't come across this book.
