This book was a refreshing tale on the modern vampire. I really enjoyed the narrator’s read of this; her pronunciation of certain phrases allowed you to get lost in the authenticity of the settings. I would love it if the book delved into more detail about the history of the vampires. The ending is satisfactory, but written in a way that a follow-on book would slot in nicely to carry on the story.
