I really enjoyed this last book, this series has kept me in books for an entire year. Really great writing and great narration. Fabulous!

There have been some tough feedback on the final instalment of the Sookie Stackhouse series, but I did enjoy it. Would I have chosen this ending for Sookie, no. It was too tidy and love/life is not so simple.

But it gave me peace that my favourites who I had grown so attached to ended up in a position where they could have their happily ever after. A sober ending to an explosive passion filled series.

And if I miss the sparkling dance of lovers trying to overcome great trials and tribulations I can always listen to the other audiobooks in the series. This one is not for that.

I have been a fan of Sookie books for many years but this is the first time listening to the series by Audio book. The narrator is really good and I feel I got more out of the series by listening over reading it.

Love love Charaine have read/listened to all but this ones not my absolute fav book. Little disappointed.

Alcide always was always will be.

Everything I read I remember, everything I hear I remember...

So as you can imagine I will consume a book and move on never to return, this series of books however are the only ones I have gone back through multiple times. This is because the characters are so intricately designed they become real, the story lines while based in fantasy from the off never fail to surprise and thoroughly delight. I have never had such an all round almost tactile experience from something that I've read to make me come back to them so often and with that first time read anticipation it's nuts because I remember every word already.

They are utterly hilarious, full of blood-pumping action and downright hot in equal measure with so many more facets that will have you also coming back time and again.
The books do not copy the T.V. Show plot line they are completely different the anchors for both being the familiarity of the main characters but both being superb in their own ways.

A definite BUY IT NOW! you certainly will not regret it.

Truly an experience not to be missed!
