I struggled through this one. The narration was good but the story was so poorly put together . The overall plot idea was okay but I assume it was not proof read.
People made constant silly choices putting themselves in danger when there were safe alternatives and so many continuity errors.
The best example a car is found amongst loads that have been stripped bare, after 3 years it starts first time, it does need hot wiring as there are no keys, then later there are some keys. It switches between a two door and a four door on multiple occasions then is hidden behind a large sign that turns into a tree.
I wanted to enjoy this, such a shame.

Definitely worth a listen glad I listened with all eight books at once or I would have been wanting to listen straight after I’d finished one. The story was well written not overly exaggerated it was believable

I didn't really care for any of the characters and they seemed unbelievable and generally not nice people. Not sure why everyone worshipped John as he left more death and destruction in his wake than the zombies.

I liked the length of the series. it is an easy listen and a good storyline. I still think Nick Clausen is better but I would purchase other books by this author. well worth a read.
