If only the female lead didn’t keep harping back to the tragedy of her twin sister's drowning, the story might have moved along quicker.

Took a few chapters but I'm glad I perseveres as then I couldn't stop listening. Very enjoyable can't wait to start book two

I had picked this book thinking it would be a typical story of supernatural talented woman meets werewolf, angst and then he’d go chomp and hai happy ever after, I could not have been more wrong. Cam is a talented investigator and she meets Graeson at the scene where his sister was murdered. Cam is deeply affected by a childhood tragedy that led to the disappearance of her sister, they both understand the loss of a sibling. The investigation takes many twists and turns and nothing is as it seems. The characters are just great, strong but there is a reality to them they have their own personal struggles. I am so hooked now! Can’t wait for the next in series.

This is the book that got me into Hailey edwards books. All her books are wonderfully written and I look forward to listening to more of her books
