Summary

Kate Kinsella is in her office above Humberstones Funeral Directors, contemplating her first real murder case as a private investigator. Jacky Byfield, a nurse at rundown St. Dymphna's Hospital, was stabbed to death on the grounds while running an errand on her night shift.

I really enjoyed the the concept. It is well written and thought out. such a refreshing idea for a private detective murder mystery. Great characters and fast paced. Brilliant narrative and read with ease . I look forward to the next book.

I enjoyed this audio book making a change from the usual Detective novels I listen to. Still murder and suspense. The only criticism I have, is the narrators voice was over the top on some of the characters.

As I’m into murder mystery you feel as if there won’t be a twist that you don’t see coming. It was very refreshing good stuff !

This is a very enjoyable audiobook. The first in the series and I m looking forward to reading more. The narrator realy helps bring the book to life, she is not one I've heard of before but is now definite!y.in. My list of top favourite narrators. I
Excellent main charactrrs, great humour, without being over the top. Definitely worth giving this author a try.
