Di is one of Grayson's Guardians, but after finding herself the target of gunfire three times in a matter of hours, she realises this is personal and it would be wise to accept Jarek's help.....grudgingly. I love the feisty, verbal sparring between Di and Jarek, it's a classic case of that fine line between love and hate! They have a contentious history that both attribute to the other, but in reality is caused by the walls both have and their abrupt natures. The enforced proximity means they both end up lowering their defenses and realising that first impressions may have been hasty.
It is great seeing their walls fall and the love grow as they race from bullets whilst investigating why they are being targeted. This is a great twist to the series and I really enjoyed it.
