I live in Norfolk - very close to Fakenham - and I love how well researched and accurate Ross Greenwood’s books are. A special shout out for the narrator, whose Norfolk accent is the best I have heard on any Audible book.

I really love the characters: Ashley, Hector et al, the complexity of the stories and the location. Clearly there’s a lot of background research going into each plot. I also really enjoy listening to David Thorpe, his accents are really good, to my uneducated ear anyway. I’ve already pre-ordered the next one and hope there’s more than that to come. Highly recommended

This is the fifth book in this Norfolk based series and intriguing as always.
I really love how the author develops both the plot and the various characters involved. Over the series I have become quite attached to the various members of the Norfolk police and their associates.
As an added bonus I have learnt an awful lot about horse racing!
