Back at the shop, the ladies learn that the poor woman was murdered. Someone injected Sylvia Steadman with something very nasty indeed.

Sylvia was the owner of Crufts champion Charlie, a handsome black Standard Poodle. She must have had lots of very jealous competitors...

These charity shop cozy murder books are excellent and very entertaining. The performance is perfect with the voices of the three ladies different so it is easy to dostinguish who is speaking. The story lines are very good and keep you guessing to the end.
