Summary
As the monks on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne saw the dragon ships approaching, they were wholly unprepared for the ferocity of what awaited them. “Death from the Mist: A Viking Prophecy” delves into the world of the Early Middle Ages as the Viking raiders attack the English coastal monasteries searching for wealth.
Set against this medieval backdrop, three archaeologists emerge after being lost in a cave to find themselves at Lindisfarne monastery in March 793, three months before the infamous raid.
Confused about how they arrived, they must somehow survive the raid and discover why they are there. Follow their adventure of discovery and intrigue through England, Scotland, Denmark, and Norway.
