But when Perry Noble, head of the Little Cote darts club, is found dead on his doorstep, even PC Jemima Cotton can't believe she's found herself involved in yet another murder investigation in this sleepy village.

As Jemima starts to investigate, she discovers Perry had his fair share of enemies...especially among the darts players themselves. So it's no surprise when the murder weapon is revealed to be a poisoned dart.

I am loving this modern take on the rural murder mystery. Great characters, all of whom could plausibly have done it. Can’t wait for credit day to download the next one.

I binged this book in two days. Penelope Rawlins is truly wonderful as the narrator. The story was very enjoyable as an ex-darts player for two pubs I can appreciate the setting. Rose Temple is a great writer and this was fun. I did feel the conclusion was a little rushed, maybe it's just me?
