i enjoyed how much detail Ibrahim goes intonregarding what caused the crusades and what happened during the crusades. it's a chapter of history most of the westerners of the world are ignorant to. i recommend this book to everyone.

the unapologetic truth of of the relationship between Islam and Christianity- a truth modern academia completely fails (or refuses) to shed light upon.
This book should be compulsory teaching in all western schools.

Fascinating to learn about so many of the heroes of the faith that walked before us and fought to preserve much of what we now enjoy and sadly, often take for granted. Their bravery, conviction and devotion to God are admirable. One can only aspires to be half as brave as these men were.

absolutely amazing, a historical journey. Really makes you rethink what you have been taught, or what people think they know about these historical figures. Both islamic and christian records were used plenty. The reader has a great voice too!
