Good book but they don't need to bash men as much as they do, not even one joke at the expense of women to balance it somewhat

maybe I'm just becoming cynical as I become older but I feel at least 1/3 of the book is just about personal relationships and not the good kind. it switches from Chara to Chara saying how happy they they are and how lucky they are to found the person they love. if feel hardly anything happens in actual story progression as it's just filled with this mush. I understand this can be seen as important character development, though this book it feels too much. book 2 of this seris had plenty of it but it was a nicer balance.
