Val and Rebecca are drawn to each other from the moment they meet, but Val thinks that he should marry for money to save the dukedom, and Rebecca knows that she can’t be that woman. It doesn’t help that Rebecca is keeping secrets and Val is torn between his former pugilist life and his new one as Duke of Wyndham. A brilliant start to this historical romance series with STEM heroines and the men who fall for them. Narrated beautifully by Rebecca McKernan.
