Well this was a slog - I’ve read everything by SM ( save the vampire series) & this was by far below the level of the rest- seems he wanted to write a historical novel so fair play but in doing so he’s forgotten to actually add a fast moving plot - so if you’re into long drawn out description of all things past & don’t mind there is not much going on - you’ll enjoy but if you want a fast moving page turner give this a serve - sorry SM but stick to a win a formula- style - no need to change unless your looking to change you reader demographic
