Leah Covington has decided to give up dating and focus on running the family restaurant alongside her uncle. Digging Deep had some sweet moments and swoony kisses, but it also had a few violent scenes that I didn’t love.
Leah and Cam are beautiful together, and Cam’s family is great. Leah’s ‘Uncle Joe’ was so supportive of her, and I loved that.
Although this is a closed-door romance, I’d argue that it pushes the boundaries of what is comfortable for some readers.
I also wouldn’t call it a fast-paced story. At parts it felt a little slow. I’m glad that Leah and Cam got their HEA.
