Summary

Spider Surprise!

The story progressed but the characters didn't. It just made the book feel like hours of filler which broke the immersion of the book. Every problem the characters had in book one is still there.

I can't really think who I am rooting for in this book. Characters feel templated from two or three types.

The story builds up to point where you expect something to happen and then dags on like an actor has missed there marked by two pages.

The whole book is a fetch quest to get an item I am pretty sure the MC created in book one with magic. It did have me scratching my head.

The overall concept is good but this is an average book at best.
