Five broken alphas. One lost wolf. A fate she never expected.

My life is irreversibly changed by coming to Silver Falls University. Although I don't truly realize just how much until we visit the Whitepaw pack. I wish I could say that the most upsetting part was reuniting with a pack that had no problem expressing their dislike of me. No, instead I find myself remembering something about my past that I'd completely forgotten.

That realization comes with the knowledge that my mates and I are in so much more danger than ever before. Especially now that Dr. Haistain has taken drastic action to force our hand on creating a mating bond by shaming my mates…

At least that was what we assumed when he invited all of their families to campus. Instead, he suggests something so drastic it brings someone completely unexpected into our lives.

What they tell me, what I discover about my past…changes everything.

Join Effie Harlow on her journey at Silver Falls University. This slow-burn reverse harem paranormal romance features five protective and possessive shifter mates who are bound and determined to keep Effie by their side, no matter what to prove to her that she is so much more than anyone has ever tried to tell her she was. Will they be able to convince her of her place at Silver Falls and in their lives? Or will Effie get lost in the university crowds like she did back home? Find out in this third installment of five in the Silver Falls University series.

For mature listeners.

Damn, that ending. I'm high-fiving them all right now and sticking out my tongue at all the fools!

Fist-pumping the air moments and some lol moments. I love Effie and all her mates. So much to still discover, so much to find out!

That ending!

At some point, this 'woe is me' attitude that our main female has constantly.... gets old. I just don't think I can sit through another book of weird narration (more narrators were probably needed since there are 6 or 7 main characters.... or just do one and let them do consistent voices). Besides the narration, none of the characters are developing forwards, they're mostly in a stand-still in character development.

There's a slight plot going, so I might read/skim the books in the future to figure out how everything ends, but at this point I don't feel that this series is worth another 14 hours of my time. But if you loved the previous books, keep going! You should be happy! If you were on the fence, it doesn't seem to be improving.

Probably won't continue...

The performance is wonderful, I'll listen to Tor Thom all day and all night and he has 5 character wolves here. They are all complex and in parts broken in their own way and I know Effie is helping heal them but she is getting on my nerves a bit. A lot of her angst could be avoided with a few text messages and can she not set an alarm clock, and feed herself before her stomach growls, and she blacks out way too much. I get that her mates love to take care of her and I know what I'm signing up for with this genre, but even so. I'm happy for what she is doing for her mates, and enjoying the story of the magic and the different types of wolves, and I know she'll probably save the world but this is book 3 and to push it to 5 is a lot, I'm mostly in it for Tor now.

Enjoying, but Effie is a little helpless
