About this listen

Paksenarrion, once a sheepfarmer's daughter, now a veteran warrior, meets new challenges as she breaks up a robber gang, dispells an ancient evil possessing an elvish shrine, and is accepted for training at an academy for knights. Clearly, a high destiny awaits her.

youth fantasy in its best. haven't read it for almost 20 years. still keeps up. performance is very good. book 2 is, as it was, not my favourite. start of book 3 neither, but then there is the fire with okehallow... and well. it's just wholesome and nostalgia makes it awesome

one of my favourites

I am devastated and I need to read the next book so Elizabeth makes everything better. off to make a cucumber compress to cut down this swelling in my eyes from all these TEARS... great book tho.

I was literally crying for the last hour

This is an old time favorite book from my youth and for me the story still holds, I love it.
But I had a huge problem with the narrator sadly, her interpretation of elven voices, especially the half-elf travel companion, was cringe worthy to me.

Love the story, but not the narrator
