ive listened to all of tim marshall books so far, and this one is definately the best yet. just got better and better as you went through and ended with a great conclusion

Well researched and written. It was very informative and give insight into socio political situations around the world. Closer to home, it gave a refreshingly balanced view of Brexit and immigration.
Well narrated, but I wasn't keen on the accents that the narrator put on in places. It sounded forced.

If you’ve read “Prisoners of geography”, this book does not offer any new ideas. Just read the “prisoners...”.

Fiercely interesting book that leaves you wanting to learn. I love the fact that it covers regions/nation's and the borders that dived them across whole globe, helping to create a wider understanding of what is occurring on our planet. I would highly recommend this audiobook.

Like his other works this book by Tim Marshall exposes the lister to geopolitical ideas whilst rendering them relevant to day to day concerns. Effectively read even if the put on accents can sound a little silly and unnecessary.
