Summary

Another freezing winter descends in seeming peace upon the Northern Ontario lake where realtor Belle Palmer lives genteelly with her dog, tropical fishes and classic film collection. Well this wasn't the expected storyline, I've read a couple of this series, don't particularly like the characters but the stiry is usually good, gave up with this one.

This story bears no relation to the description. Not a captivating read, characters not likeable except perhaps for the victim. Gave up before the end. Revolves around research & some animal experimentation. Nothing to do with a woman living with her dog or the victim being found in a frozen lake?
