Terry Pratchett
Dodger is a tosher – a sewer scavenger living in the squalor of Dickensian London.
Everyone who is nobody knows Dodger. Anyone who is anybody doesn’t.
But when he rescues a young girl from a beating, suddenly everybody wants to know him.
And Dodger’s tale of skulduggery, dark plans and even darker deeds begins . . .
Critic reviews
Lovingly read by one of the best narrators I've ever listened to, this is in my opinion one of Terry Pratchetts best books.
And you can trust me on this, I'm a librarian

Where does Dodger rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Dodger ranks quite high among the audio titles I have listened to.What did you like best about this story?
How Dodger became admired by all the "Toffs" for his heroic deed.Which character – as performed by Steven Briggs – was your favourite?
Dodger of course... Without a doubt!Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Laughed all the way through.Any additional comments?
I know some of Terry Pratchett's books can be frustrating to read at times - as he can over stress the comedy quite often, but if you are of the same mind give this title a go, you won't be disappointed, I'll guarantee that.Try not to dodge this title!

Would you listen to Dodger again? Why?
Terry Pratchett can make a Charles Dickens plot from Victorian London into the most amazing adventure tableau for an adventure with the most unlikely hero you could imagine. Terry should be made to write all children's history textbooks from now on. Labelling this as a Childrens book is a disservice to the interest it attracted from a mature adult like myself. I would listen again if only to better absorb the immense volume of information fired at you during the story. My ti is to have Wikipedia open as you listen to this, so you can more quickly understand the new information fired at you. What did you like best about this story?
