Lucien Gant, patriarch of the Gant family in France, has decided the time has come to wage war on their enemies. Those enemies include Tanner.
Tanner travels to New York City to help Joe Pullo, who killed Lucien’s son, Victor, after Victor’s ill-fated attempt to take over the city years earlier.
Elke Gant killed another of Lucien’s sons, Marius, in retaliation for the murder of her own son.
Lucien’s remaining son, the hulking Hugo Gant, and his devious sister, Salome, are out to do their father’s bidding and eliminate their enemies. And their success brings tragedy into Tanner’s life.
