I never intended to bond with a dragon.

I read this book when it first came out and so was really pleased to listen to it. Thoroughly enjoyed it again.
Took me a bit to get used to the actress - mostly because I’m used to Sam Hall audio being Aussie and this is very stereotypical English. Good range of voices though which only very occasionally drop.
Well worth the credit.

Good story telling and really well narrated, except the male voices tended to to sound comedic, rather than hot/broody/strong etc, but that’s just a problem with women reading male parts, no matter how good a narrator they are, and she is good.
It made the hot bits definitely not hot, but also if anyone talked to me like that, I’d be like the Sahara desert lol. That’s the reasons for knocking stars off.

Really enjoyed this, good story line, enjoyed the characters. A bit sexy / muti partner near the end for those with a delicate disposition. Good Dragon book.
