Even better, it provides multiple guided sessions you can follow along with. These helped me confront some difficult memories, gain new insights, and put in distance to finally let go. There are even specific tools for managing anger and anxiety, which were huge struggles for me. Overall I learned so much to finally break free and live a happier, more fulfilling life and feel very good about applying these tools and strategies moving forward

I must first explain my reason for purchasing this book.
My beloved Son 36 who was an intensive care nurse with two medical Degrees and a music Degree took his Life 12 weeks ago. He was the most thoughtful caring loving Son Friend Soul that you could wish to meet.
His loss has devastated us all.
A friend from a suicide bereavement group suggested that I explore an EMDR therapist. This was totally unknown to me so I scoured Youtube and came upon several EMDR references. One was produced by this author so I searched on Audible books and found this.
My grief is both dark and deep yet by adopting some of the practices in this book it has taken me away from the shadow that is ready to envelope me at any time.
I can only give 5 Stars yet this book is priceless and if you listen all of the way through and engage in the exercises at the end you will hopefully diminish your mental trauma whatever the cause dramatically. I shall continue to refer and practice as even after such a short time it has helped me in those times of grief and self doubt. Please if you need help then this exemplary gentle kind narration will help guide you through. x
