I love these books so deeply. I had been anticipating the release and I am so happy to report that I was not disappointed. The setting was perfect, high intrigue, murder and a story that kept me guessing.

my only real complaint is that now I have to begin the waiting game for the next book being written

I was very much looking forward to this latest addition to the kind Donovan series, the first one I thoroughly enjoyed, the narrator was clear and concise. Unfortunately, every book that has come out since has progressively got lower in pitch and sounds more unrealistic. The voices for the characters have changed and overall, I’m very disappointed.
