About this listen

Edie and the flits are off to Paris for a new adventure!

A magical story about friendship, family and the importance of noticing the little things in life.

Edie and Naz were so looking forward to their exciting trip to Paris—until Naz's annoying little sister Sami tagged along, that is.

And as if that wasn't enough, Sami smuggled some precious flits with her! Keeping their tiny thumb-sized friends safe in London was hard enough, but in Paris? C'est terrible!

Then they encounter Monsieur Rottier, a collector creating theatrical scenes featuring miniature people in glass domes. Miniature people who look incredibly lifelike . . .

Can Edie and her friends help the French flits before it's too late?

A must-listen for fans of Harklights and The Borrowers.

This is every bit as wonderful as Edie and the Box of Flits. It is imaginative, charming and quirky. As with the first volume, it is a perfect balance between exciting peril and reassuring comfort. It can be read independently, without having read the first volume, but it builds beautifully on from the world created previously. It will appeal to those who love trains, metros, bicycles and motorbikes; fans of Paris; and those who are fascinated by miniature worlds. But the characters are loveable, and the story is so original and so well constructed that it has universal appeal. My household is clambering for a third volume, and want Edie to visit her gran in Helsinki.

Delightful adventure
