Unbelievable characters (particularly the women), one-dimensional, silly and cruel. That makes it very hard to care to begin with. The story makes little to no sense. Some cheap slasher stuff and the revelations at the end are ... well, never mind.

The biggest problem: does the author try to make us feel sympathy for someone who watched a girl being raped? Hopefully not, but it certainly looks that way.

Skilled author, yet talent wasted here. The possible implications surrounding attitude towards women and rape are hopefully a misunderstanding, Disturbing nevertheless.
