Summary

Darkness falls.... Despair abounds.... Evil reigns….

Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have just saved the rebel state from destruction by the mighty forces of King Galbatorix, cruel ruler of the Empire. Now Eragon must travel to Ellesméra, land of the elves, for further training in magic and swordsmanship, the vital skills of the Dragon Rider. It is the journey of a lifetime, filled with awe-inspiring new places and people, each day a fresh adventure. But chaos and betrayal plague him at every turn, and Eragon isn't sure whom he can trust.

Meanwhile, his cousin Roran must fight a new battle back home in Carvahall - one that puts Eragon in even graver danger.

Will the king's dark hand strangle all resistance? Eragon may not escape with even his life....

I only found one issue with this audiobook which happens during when eragon was in the elves forest during the blood moon festival were in a conversation the audio seemed to glitch and falter, this could have been on my end but no matter what I did it persisted apart from that this was amazing perfect story and compelling to boot although the voice of saphira was startling at first it began to grow on me and the twist at the end was amazing so defiantly worth the listen and purchase.

I’m glad there’s more to the story, I was so lost in this like the first book. Now time to start the third book now.

This is the best book yet and it’s not over yet but it’s a very good idea.

Read these years ago and I am enjoying the audible version however I really don’t like the voices used for the dragons. They sound like angry orcs and rally grate on the ears.

Pretty good
