Summary
The Roaring '20s was a time of great change, when women raised their hemlines and bobbed their hair. Watch a young love blossom in this sweet romance.
When Elena Yeates settles into a small western town as the newest doctor, a few problems arise. The town is not ready for a female doctor, let alone one so strong and independent. She must struggle against the prejudice to establish her new practice. As she fights to prove herself, the town's most eligible bachelor finds it a challenge to see if he can win her heart.

The story is a light, easy read. It is very gentle and can be listened to by all the family.
I loved seeing Melinda and Gilbert again in this book. I liked John but I found myself being disappointed in his attitude to romantic relationships. He wasn't very supportive of Elena at times either and I knew he would have to mature and make up for his mistakes before there would be any happy ever afters! It was fun to follow him on this journey of discovery. and redeem himself. A pleasant, family friendly read. Recommended.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reading audio copy.
A lovely series
