A great conclusion to a great trilogy. Brilliant story, excellently narrated as usual by Sean Mangan.
Looking forward to Beck’s next story.

This was a great listen and equal to the other two books in the series. However I would just like to say that with the attrition rate of the characters I’m glad I never managed to find my way to the centre of the earth!! I shall be waiting for the next book to see what happens next!

After listening to this book I don't think I will ever want to explore underground!

The writing, scenery description, and character development is better than in the previous books, leading to more engagement with the plot. Indeed, I felt a little sick when the nematodes attacked, and I have a cast iron stomach! The ending is pretty good as well; just what one would expect from a good horror adventure.

This was a great conclusion to the series, filled with action as all of Beck's books. The third journey into the center of the Earth is just as suspenseful and violent as the previous trips, and I love that we got a bit more of the underworld mythology in this one. All in all a very good book.

Not much to say except that.
This is no miracle improvement over the other books.
Still ok but mostly due to the world itself.
The ending is lame, trying to leave the door open for a next book in the most banal way.
