After years of relying on instinct, I didn’t realize how many leadership pitfalls I was stumbling into until this spelled them out clearly. It breaks things down into digestible, actionable pieces without being dry. If you're in a leadership role, even informally, this is worth your time.

Essential Leadership Skills and Conflict Resolution Strategies for Managers (2 books in 1):is a very well written and researched. It will be extremely helpful for future leaders to hone their skills. There are many strategies in these books I have used over the years. The information allows supervisors to strengthen their core values while showing areas where they may be lacking.I particularly like the section on inspiring your workers by giving them the respect they deserve.

I’ve read so many leadership books that felt too theoretical, but this one? Straight to the point. It breaks down communication and conflict into real-world strategies I actually use every day. There is a TON of info in this book and some real strategies to manage teams better. I think following this advice will help anyone distinguish themselves at work. I was impressed and inspired.

Love love love! If I had this book when I first became a manager, I would’ve avoided a lot of trial and error (and STRESS!). It’s clear, approachable, and full of tips that feel like they come from real experience. I plan to gift it to every new manager I know.

Amber Preston was sound, that. Dead engaging and full of useful stuff. I had it on while commuting and it went down a treat. Clear as day and easy to take in, even with all the noise around. The way it was paced made the tricky bits feel doable, and Preston’s voice had just the right mix of boss and down-to-earth.
The bit on leadership gave me some proper good tips, especially around communication and handing out jobs. The best bit was learning how to match tasks with what your team’s actually good at. Makes a big difference, that. Then the conflict stuff came in with real-life ways to deal with tension and build a team that respects each other. No fluff, just solid advice.
What I liked most was how it never went off into la-la land. Everything felt real and useful, like I could use it straight away. Even in online or mixed setups, it still made sense. Could’ve gone a bit deeper on working with different kinds of teams, but all in all, it’s a cracking listen for anyone who’s managing people and wants to feel more confident and clear-headed.
