Longwinded sentimental cliched very unsubtle pro-war propaganda. I’m all for supporting and admiring troups but this is over the top. Pity. First book was a little better.

Disappointing

I am a chronic romantic. I completely enjoyed the first part of this sequel. However, it felt like this was a manifesto to promote the war in Iraq. I understood the context and why it was included. But the emphasis lasted too long within the book. Hence my disappointment
