the storybl was running out of steam, but this is an excellent reboot, well done all!

Feels like a bit of a reset to the early Demon Accords with lots of action, supernatural stuff and romance without some of the more complicated elements from the newer Accords books. I’m loving it and can’t wait for the next instalment.

I finished Expansion and immediately listened to it a second time back-to-back just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. That alone should tell you how good this book is.
John Conroe is the GOAT as far as I’m concerned. The pacing, the characters, the world-building, the emotion — everything just works. It’s one of those rare books where you genuinely don’t want it to end.
10/10. Highly recommended to absolutely everybody.

haveing a new narrator is good as it distinctinguishers the original demon accords from the new.

Fantastic continuation to the demon accords. Can see why the author felt a bit of a reset was needed things got a bit manic towards the end of the first series I'd imagine it was difficult to bring all the loose threads together. I felt it was done well, but love this new start as much as I loved god touched, seems like an excellent intro to the next generation.
