Heartbreaking and breathtaking slow burn… I need this in ebook or pb format to highlight all the quotes, especially those from Jagger to Paisley.
My heart is bursting at the seams and even I had no idea where this story would end, I savoured every breath, every minute, every memory these two shared.
Paisley was a little irrational at times but given her circumstances it was more than understandable. The chemistry and connection between her and Jagger was palpable and electric.
If you want an emotional small town slowburn this one is for you.

Great story which kept me totally engaged throughout. Loved the characters and the chemistry. I’m a sucker for a man in uniform, I guess that’s why I married one. I am so pleased Paisley got her happy ending. Jagger….. what a heartthrob.

It’s a very slow burn, beautiful written romance story that has more emotional moments than anything I’ve read before. A total must read

I came across this book on my way through Rebecca Yarros' works. My brother has the same heart condition, so that gave this a different twist for me. Overall love the narrators, solid romance book.
