Loved Mateo, a member of a Houston drug cartel, who falls in love with Leighton, a corrupt politician’s daughter. Everyone has secrets, and the double-crosses will keep you guessing who can really be trusted in this criminal underworld. This story is fast-paced and well written. Aaron Shedlock and Sarah Puckett do an excellent job bringing these characters to life. Excellent book!

Loved this second audiobook of the Carrera Cartel series. It’s fast paced with so much happening. Eye opening events that pulled me in and gripped me to follow this story into the wee hours because it is that good.

Leighton appears to be an innocent at the start but that sure changes quickly in this book. She’s caring of her brother Brody even while being shocked into the knowledge that he isn’t all she thought him to be. And wholly hell a past with one of the Carrera cartel members, so didn’t see that coming.

So much in this book. Family betrayal, corrupt police and rotten people forcing Leighton’s actions. Political issues and of course the cartel mafia. You’re going to love this book.

Awesome narration.

Sarah and Aaron are such expressive voice actors, they allowed me to listen to this audiobook full of their emotional performances.

Faded Gray Lines is incredibly written and thoroughly captivating; an action-pack, suspenseful, and well-crafted star-crossed cartel romance, that hooks your right from the start. The storyline is wrapped in secrets, deception, intrigue, and enemies lurking in corners. The unexpected twists and turns made the story unpredictable; it had me guessing the entire time. The characters, Mateo, and Leighton are genuine and totally authentic; it's impossible not to get emotionally invested in them. They're magnetic, and their story is absolutely fantastic; and the chemistry is palpable, one of passion and mutual desire.

Aaron Shedlock and Sarah Puckett are true voice artists. They slipped perfectly into the characters pulling me right into the story. I was fully absorbed into Mateo and Leighton's world. All in all, Faded Gray Lines is unbelievably engaging, a thrilling and memorable ride, one I'll highly recommend.
