Each character was fluidly developed without you even noticing, and without much time you already have favourites (mine being Aya). With the world, also following the same pattern, and before you know it, you’re knee deep in the corsair life, and what a nonstop life it is!
Keeping it short, I’m not one to read or listen to books too often, I can’t get emotionally involved, or keep the attention span long enough to finish them, but Fair with Fortune and the world created within really had me from cover to blurb, so coming from me, it’s worth the shot…
