Finally finished a very intense conclusion to the best trilogy I have listened to. The sex scenes are hard core sadistic, but this doesn't detract from the core of the love story. Well written, brilliant narration and the combination of both brings the characters to life. Their fight becomes your fight, their heartbreak becomes yours. I wish the abuser had been dealt with in a way deserving as a response to the characteristics portrayed, that was the only disappointment really.
Can't wait to read the follow-up series, The Collector Trilogy.
