I wish the reader could have paused a bit more between sections as I found that I had to replay bits more than once, not realising she'd moved on to another chapter. A bit confusing. I don't know how much it affected my enjoyment of the story but I can't say that was the best.

why would a lowly police Sargent lead the investigation for a serial killer?
Why is a criminal profiler acting as a police Investigator?
She has not been trained in police investigation and may be making a lot of the evidence inadmissible in a court case.
what about the issue of taking erotic photos of a child?

i wish there was more stress on the police investigation. I know it was about the psychologist finding her past. However, there was a series of major crimes to be solved. I would also have appreciated finding out what occurred to the very nasty docto. The story just ended yet there was this abusive rapist and torturer man. Did he just go home, or was he held to account?
