About this listen

An Unforgettable Journey to Mt. Everest Base Camp.

Elizabeth Williams, her brother Hank, and their close friend Luke embark on an exhilarating expedition to reach Mt. Everest Base Camp. What begins as a challenge to fulfil a promise quickly evolves into an adventure far beyond their expectations.

Guided by their tour leader Priya, the ascent to their goal proves to be increasingly difficult, with harsh weather conditions, a strenuous climb, and the physical toll weighing heavily on their bodies. However, local legends whisper of a mysterious creature that roams these lofty ranges. Some refer to it as a Yeti, while others call it the Abominable Snowman.

But surely, they are just tales, right?

The story is good. A bit on the short side from what I'm used to. Not much downtime and you really want to know more. The diary entries are a bit weird. never written a diary bit feels like to much to write bit that's just me. Narration didn't really do the storie justice in my opinion, sorry but was a bit lackluster.

This is Peak Cooper, you may think he'd have a Mountaun to climb maintaining his consistently high standards, yet he Navigates this with ease. Im not a gambler but I would like Tibet he had a whale of a time writing this.

The writing is as polished as always and his style makes you believe your in the surroundings with the characters, the first person pov adds to the story and the characters are likeable and relatable. The narration is spot on too, endearing and captivating and traverses make and female voices effortlessly. A highly recommended listen.

A brilliant edge of the seat listen from Lee Cooper. As the 3 climbers set off to try and reach ~Everest base camp there is no way they can anticipate what lies in store for them. A real page turner this one. Maria Marquis's narration is outstanding as she brings the dramatic story to life. Highly Recommended.
