I absolutely love the ruby redfort series, they’re so clever and fun, but, having read the book, I don’t think the performance does the characters justice. The voices are very exaggerated and there’s so much dry humour which is portrayed as extremely charismatic and over the top. It’s not awful and I got used to it but I’m not a fan of the character portrayal. Again though, the story is really good.
