Robert Slade's voice performance only serves to enhance Masterton's intention to frighten. Slade is able to make us truly empathize with and fear for Masterton's character as they face down one horrifying scene after another. All The Stories Were So Scary ...

I normally enjoy Mastersons books but this was not up to his usual standard - and the narrator was little better but perhaps he was bored too. I managed 4 of the stories but with my interest waning, just gave the rest up. It might suit you but I enjoy scary from this author and this just didn't measure up. Will return with regret.
