Thea is a 'jobbing' cellist. She's still a student and works as a waitress too. She's helping to pay off her mums medical bills from battling c@ncer!🙏🏼🫶🏼 She meets and is weirdly drawn to Julian. He seems grumpy, violent, but also tender. She can't seem to get her fight or flight instinct to work around him.👀

These two are battling an attraction that doesn't seem natural or healthy for either of them. Thea is so conciliatory, whereas Julian almost seems to be in a constant battle.😔

I'm definitely invested and can't wait for more.😍
The audiobook is excellent and added half a star to my rating on my reread and listen!📖🎧⭐️

Really enjoyed this story at first I thought it was just copying Twilight but no! This is a must listen and I hope the next book is as good as this one because I need to know what happens next.
